Lake of the Woods Brewing Company is excited to have partnered with local Minnesota business folks to open a location on this end of the lake. Plans are well underway for a brewery to be built on the South Shore, to be launched in late 2018. The original Lake of the Woods Brewing Company opened in 1898 in downtown Kenora in Ontario, Canada – along the north shore of Lake of the Woods in border waters territory. The brewery thrived until 1954 when it was forced to close its doors due to consolidation and the emergence of large national breweries. The brewery reopened in Kenora in 2013 and looks forward to bringing great craft beer to everyone on the lake – both north and south of the 49th Parallel.
- The nightlife of Baudette is particularly exciting in the summer months with many of the resorts offering live bands and fish fry’s on the Rainy River. Take a boat cruise in the evening and dock at one of the many resorts to eat, drink and be entertained! During the winter months many of the area resorts also offer live band and karaoke.
