Autocross at Willie Walleye Weekend

Making its debut during the 2023 Willie Walleye Weekend will be autocross! This short track style race will be sure to excite race fans young and old! Gates will open at 1pm with the green flag flying at 2pm! See you at Willie Walleye Weekend at the fairgrounds! Event rules are as follows.
Lake of the Woods County Fair Autocross 2023 Rules
This event is restricted to FWD Cars or Mini Vans of any motor size
A 2 or 4 Point Roll Cage is HIGHLY Recommended
There will be no powderpuff for this event. All Drivers will race together
Drivers Door Reinforcement is required. If passangers are present then drivers back door must also be reinforced.
All glass except the windshield must be removed unless the following applies. Rear windows may be taped or tinted. Roll down windows may be left in if taped or tinted and rolled down
Vehicles MUST have working breaks.
Must have working seat belts. Headers are allowed. Helmets and eye protection are mandatory
If sunroofs are removed they must be covered with sheet metal and properly secured
No weight may be added to the car. No trailer hitches allowed
Passangers are allowed but must be over the age of 18 and sign a waiver. There must be working seatbelts for everyone in the vehicle. All passengers are required to wear helmets and seatbelts
No drivers, passengers or pit persons under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be allowed to enter the competition area.
Drivers must present a valid drivers license at the time of registration
Vehicles must use standard DOT approved tires.
Slogans, advertising and printing may be placed on vehicles. The vehicle number must be printed on both sides of the vehicle and have a sign on the roof. No profanity allowed on the car. If you dont arrive with a roof sign one will be provided for you.
Radios(Spotters) ARE allowed.
Top 3 drivers in the feature must pass a post race inspection in the in-field immediately following the checkered flag.
Vehicles must be removed within 72 hours following the conclusion of the event or it becomes property of the LOW County Fair Board
Tech and registration will run from 11 am- 1pm on day of event. All cars must enter the in-field through the southeast gate of the race track.

Driver/Vehicle: $35. $50 including one passenger. Additional $15 per passenger

1st: $100+ 50% of driver entry fees + trophy
